SS Fair Project Dates

1/14/16
Invitation letter to parents with info. on Mexico model sent home.

1/21/16
Landmark model approval letter sent home.

1/26/16
Landmark must be chosen and approved by me so students can begin working on their models at home. If students have NOT chosen by this date, I will assign a landmark that they MUST do. These models will be counted as 1 test grade for the 3rd marking period.

2/3/16
Field trip to American Museum of Natural History, NY.

2/4/16
Research packet MUST be complete. Students have been working on this in class. This will be counted as 1 test grade for the 2nd marking period.

2/16/16
Models are DUE in school. Students will do a short presentation for the class.

2/17-2/18/16
Mid Winter Break

3D display board must be complete. Students must work as a team to complete this in class.

2/24/16
Social Studies Fair will be at 1 pm. Pictures will be taken :) I know all my students and although some may want to sing/dance, others don't and I want everyone to feel comfortable on stage. So, my students will present facts on Mexico to the audience. Attendance this day is MANDATORY.
